State Bicycle Facilities and Pedestrian Walkways Plan
Washington’s Statewide Goal is to increase bicycling and walking while reducing injuries and deaths. The Plan, created by Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), sets a goal of decreasing collisions by five percent per year for the next 20 years, while doubling the amount of biking and walking. This Plan also establishes objectives and performance measures in each of the State’s five transportation policy areas.
