18 Mar Human Services Transportation Survey Released
The Skagit Council of Governments (SCOG) is in the process of developing a Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan (CTP-HSTP). SCOG, as the state-designated Regional Transportation Organization for the Skagit Region, coordinates stakeholders and partners in identifying and prioritizing transportation improvement projects for funding consideration. The CPT-HSTP helps regions to identify transportation needs and develop solutions to improve access for seniors, youth, people with disabilities, people with low-incomes, limited English Speakers, and those without access to a private vehicle.
Successful development of the plan enables Skagit County to apply for both federal and state funding to finance strategies outlined within the CPT-HSTP. These plans are developed working with stakeholders, service providers and community members like you.
We invite you to take the brief survey to provide feedback to SCOG staff as we make recommendations and decisions about how to improve transportation options for all of Skagit County. You can take the survey online with the QR code in the flyer linked below. Or there is a survey hard copy that can be printed out and filled out and emailed or dropped off at SCOG offices. Please contact Sarah Ruether, Associate Planner, Skagit Council of Governments, if you would like assistance to taking the survey. Her contact information: (360)-416-6605 or saruether@scog.net
