21 Oct Notice of Public Comment Period for Draft Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan (CPT-HSTP)
Notice is hereby given that the Skagit Council of Governments (SCOG) has made the draft Skagit Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan (Plan) available for public comment.
The Plan is prepared and approved through a regional process and helps to identify transportation needs and develop solutions to improve access for seniors, youth, people with disabilities, people with lower incomes, limited English speakers, and those without access to a private vehicle.
The public comment period closes on November 4, 2022. Action on approval of the Plan is anticipated at the November 16, 2022 SCOG Transportation Policy Board meeting. All written comments received on or before November 4 will be distributed to the Transportation Policy Board one week before the meeting.
An electronic copy of the draft Plan may be downloaded from this link. Paper copies are available at SCOG offices located at 315 South Third Street, Suite 100, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 upon request.
