08 Jul Notice of Public Comment Period for Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board Regional List of Projects
Notice is hereby given that the Skagit Council of Governments (SCOG) has made a proposed regional list of Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board (FMSIB) projects available for public comment. SCOG will submit a list of projects to FMSIB by August 15, 2022.
SCOG will not be selecting projects for funding, nor prioritizing projects through this process. Instead, SCOG has compiled a list of projects from the region and will submit the list to FMSIB, following approval by SCOG’s Transportation Policy Board. FMSIB will then prioritize a list of projects through a statewide process, including projects from SCOG, and submit the prioritized list to the Washington state legislature.
The public comment period closes on July 18, 2022. Action on approval of the list of projects is anticipated at the July 20, 2022 Transportation Policy Board meeting. All written comments received on or before July 18 will be provided to the Transportation Policy Board at the meeting.
