22 Mar Notice of Public Comment Period
Notice is hereby given that the Skagit Council of Governments (SCOG) has made a proposed regional project evaluation process available for public comment. Through the proposed process, projects would be awarded federal funds from the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program and Highway Infrastructure Program. Regional criteria and weights to evaluate projects are included in the proposed evaluation process.
The public comment period closes on April 5, 2019. Action on approval of an evaluation process is anticipated at the April 17, 2019 SCOG Transportation Policy Board meeting. All written comments received on or before April 5 will be distributed to the Transportation Policy Board one week before the meeting.

Paper copies are available at SCOG offices located at 315 South Third Street, Suite 100, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 during normal business hours.
