Volunteers Needed for Annual Bike-Ped Count

The Skagit Council of Governments’ Non-Motorized Advisory Committee is seeking volunteers to count bicyclists and pedestrians at locations throughout Skagit County as part of the Washington State Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project.

Counts will be conducted Sept 26-28 from 7 to 9 AM and 4 to 6 PM. Volunteers will work at selected locations to enter data on simple tally sheets. Each location will be counted for one morning and one afternoon shift over the three-day period. Volunteers can register for as many shifts as they would like.

Count sites are located in Anacortes, Burlington, Concrete, La Conner, Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, and unincorporated Skagit County.
